What is Personal Protective Equipment at KidZdent?
Dear KidZdent Families:
While you have been doing everything you can to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, KidZdent has been working tirelessly with The Centers for Disease Control and The American Dental Association to create the healthiest environment for you and your family to continue your dental health journey at KidZdent.
We have always exceeded CDC and Universal Precautions and now we have instituted a number of additional safeguards to protect the health of you and your family, including:
- Total Air HEPA-13 Medical Grade filtration throughout our office to trap bacteria and viruses in the air that we breathe
- Water Hepa-13 Filtration and Ultra Violet-C disinfection of all patient water systems
- Localized Medical Grade HEPA-13 air filtration of waiting areas and clinical areas that cleans and purifies the air 12 times per hour
- Upgraded Personal Protective Equipment for staff and doctors to insure our professionally trained caregivers are protected
- Enhanced disinfection of all office environments with several different anti-viral systems that insure viral kills within contact
- Social distancing guidelines have been instituted so that our families can relax in waiting areas, separated by a minimum of six feet and also, all pediatric treatment chairs are partitioned to allow for privacy and separation
- Check-in and Exit systems are modified to minimize direct contact
- Visitors and staff will be required to wear facial coverings at all times
