What started off as a temporary opportunity to assist her daughter Barbara’s employer turned into a brand-new beginning for our beloved Annie. This month we not only celebrate the milestone of 15 years strong with KidZdent, but also 80 years young in life!
After a full career in banking, Annie was ready for the retired life…That is until one day she received a call from her daughter who had been a part of the KidZdent family for years, alongside Annie’s granddaughter Lisa (Could you believe it? Three generations at KidZdent!) Barbara asked if she was available to help out a couple of days a week answering phone calls, stuffing mailers and even perhaps keeping the office in check with needed items that we go through regularly- all the ins and out in making sure the office was properly functioning and well-kept. Initially, it began as a way to fill time, and of course, be close to her family. However, before we knew it, Annie evolved into such an intricate cog in our wheel, but more so, impacting our office culture and leaving an imprint in our hearts daily. Dr. B and Dr. Villa were completely captured by her charm and ability to handle all of the details behind the
scenes.
With her wisdom, sass, and spunky ‘tell- it -like -it -is’ attitude, she naturally and quickly became an office favorite. In honor of her big, special birthday, KidZdent couldn’t resist throwing her a wonderful
party where we all shared memories, welcomed roast-like insults, and non-stop laughs with her favorite foods, treats, gifts and team! Our staff lined up without hesitation for the chance to show Annie how thankful we are for her and how much she means to each and every one of us.
But Annie is not only a popular KidZdent family member, she is also very active in the community and amongst her senior pals- always attending shows, events, and traveling together- not to mention, dining at their ultimate hot spot for ‘Ladies Night’, the Outback Steakhouse. #AARPNightLife
